Carroll County Local Management Board Identity

THE REQUEST

Carroll County Local Management Board is part of a Maryland state-wide government agency with a mission to promote the well-being of children and families. This agency asked for a logo to promote the community-oriented approach of connecting various state and/or local agencies to the needs of families.

THE RESULT

The design of this logo represents outstretched arms of people coming together, in a circular form celebrating unity and a radiant shape to reflect hope. Each "person" is symbolic of an agency connecting with others to make a whole. Colors appropriately represent the bright playfulness of children, while using a serif font to reflect the reliability of a government entity.
