Downtown Frederick Partnership works to enhance, promote, and preserve the vitality and economic viability of Downtown Frederick by implementing the national Main Street Program for the benefit of Frederick businesses, residents, and visitors.
They needed their FY14 annual report in a format that would be easy and economical to mail to stakeholders and donors, while retaining the cheery personality of the organization.
I worked with a creative director to develop a compact, direct mail format that was fun to open and useful to display. Our solution was a tri-letter fold format which, when folded in half, was greatly reduced in size. The design conveys one can expect from downtown Frederick, containing many colors, images, and statistics.
Later into the project, it was determined that a separate infographic poster would be created using quick facts contained within the annual report.
